Keeping germs away so children can play!

Do you remember being taught to wash your hands? The importance of scrubbing between your fingers and under your fingernails to songs like 'Happy Birthday' or 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star'?

Staff spent some time during summer camp with the younger children on the importance of washing your hands in preventing sickness and staying healthy. While it may seem like a basic lesson, washing hands can have far-reaching implications, like keeping children in school and avoiding more serious forms of infections and diseases that can cause serious developmental implications for young, vulnerable bodies.
